Seeks Applicants to Fill Board Vacancy
The San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District's (District) Board of Directors is accepting applications for its upcoming appointment to fill the vacancy on its Board created by the passing of long-time Board Director, Sterling "Jack" Woodbury.
The District is a special district public entity with an elected 7-member Board of Directors, whose primary mission is the recharge and management of groundwater supplies in the Bunker Hill Basin.
The vacancy on the Board is for representation of the District's Division 4 through the remainder of Director Woodbury's term, which ends December 7, 2005. Interested candidates must permanently reside within the Division 4 boundaries, which are generally bounded by Waterman Ave. on the west, State Highway 30 on the north, E. Rialto on the south, and Arden Avenue on the east. A detailed map of the Division 4 boundaries is shown below. Additional copies are available at the Water Conservation District offices located at the address below.
Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and resume of qualifications to Ms. Colleen Theuer, Assistant to the General Manager, at 1630 West Redlands Boulevard, Suite A, Redlands, CA 92373, in an envelope marked "Candidate for Board of Director's Vacancy."
