Water Conservation District Seeks Applicants to Fill Board Vacancy
The San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District's (District) Board of Directors is accepting applications for an appointment to fill the vacancy on its Board created by the retirement of our Board director, Glenda Douglas.
The District is a special district public entity with an elected 7-member Board of Directors, whose primary mission is the recharge and management of groundwater supplies in the Bunker Hill Basin.
The vacancy on the Board is for representation of the District's Division 4 through the remainder of Director Douglas' term, which ends December 7, 2009. Interested candidates must permanently reside within the Division 4 boundaries, which are generally bounded by Waterman Ave. on the west, State Highway 30 on the north, E. Rialto on the south, and Arden Avenue on the east.
